为新买的bluehost空间开通了独立IP，开通之前一片迷茫，开通之后发现原来如此简单。

购买独立IP的流程如下：

（1）向 verification@bluehost.com 提交你的个人身份证明：驾照或者护照的扫描件，验证你在bluehost的账户。身份证扫描件其实也可以，不过bluehost的回复邮件中没有提。同时不要忘记扫描件中要有你在bluehost登陆用的主域名。

（2）验证通过之后就可以通过cpanel的 [Dedicated IP] 标签页进行购买了。

如果没有验证就购买的话，会在付费之前的页面提示：Please verify your account by calling our verifications department at (888) 401-4678, option 4 before continuing.

不用理会这个提示，步骤一就可以做到verify your account，没有必要去打这个米国电话。

参考懒猪之家申请IP的ticket写了一个验证账户的ticket：

Hello bluehost:

I want to buy a Dedicated IP, when I want to pay, there is “Please verify your account by calling our verifications department at (888) 401-4678, option 4 before continuing.” on the website,the customer service told me that ,In order to verify my account i will need to submit a scanned copy of my government issue ID card that can be a passport, drivers license, or an ID card.

By the way,i am from China ,I have attached my id card,my account is “10001km.com”.

bluehost对于碰到 [Please verify your account by calling our verifications department at (888) 401-4678, option 4 before continuing.] 提示进行解释的邮件：

Your account has not yet been verified, which limits access to your account. To verify, please provide us with an email or fax of the account holder’s government-issued photo identification (such as a driver’s license or passport). Please include your main domain name along with your ID.

You can do ONE of the following:

1) Upload the image to your account and provide us a link to that file.
2) Reply to this email with the attachments.
3) Send the attachment to verification@bluehost.com.
4) Fax the documents to 801-765-1992 ATTN: Verification.

Make sure to include your main domain name on all documents.
